Shire Lodge Nursing Home

The extension to Shire Lodge Care Home involved the design and construction of a 20-bed dementia friendly extension. The accommodation consists of 20 bedrooms each with its own ensuite wet room, dining room, lounge and supported living facilities all of which provide the residents with a wide variety of spaces in order to provide them with a supported yet active and fulfilled life.

The project took 35 weeks to complete which included the interior furnishings and furniture. The site constraints required that the project be constructed in a sensitive manner to allow the existing care home to function.
